Over the last 25 years I have been in private practice with my base in Vancouver BC. I see patients in person and online and provide professional holistic care for children and adults looking to make permanent shifts in their health.

In my years of practice and teaching, I have helped thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds. I have treated a wide variety of problems and in fact at this point, there is very little I have not seen in my career. I am one of the few Naturopathic Physicians in Canada with three medical licenses: Homeopathy, Naturopathic, and Acupuncture.

My approach to healthcare is treating the whole: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Our levels of health are intertwined and when one level is affected, all are affected. I bring together modalities that support healing, self awareness and personal growth that ultimately result in a sense of calm. I have a wide range of tools and experience and so if you are feeling lost, I can start you on your path of feeling good again.

Training and Background

I have many different facets to my background and training that make up who I am. Below is a bit about my background as well as what all my letters mean.

I have graduated from two different Naturopathic Colleges in two different countries: Australasian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Sydney, Australia, along with a Doctor of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic medicine in Toronto, Ontario. I have advanced training in homeopathy: Lou Klein’s three year post graduate Homeopathic Master Clinician (HMC) program. I belong to International Homeopathic organizations including the North American Society of Homeopaths (NASH) as well as the Canadian Society of Homeopaths (CSH). I have completed the three-year post graduate Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP) training with the IBP institute in California, USA.

I have additional training in meditation and energy work along with other consciousness practices. I have held a license with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists (CTCMA) since 2001, and although I now practice mostly homeopathy and mind-body awareness medicine, my knowledge of TCM shines through my work.

I believe homeopathy deserves an important place in our healthcare system

I am a member of International Homeopathic Organizations and am a forever student. Homeopathy is a complex and evolving science and I stay ontop of new developments. My studies take me to Europe, all over North America and India where I study with some of the most innovative doctors of our time. I am advocate for homeopathy and host several local homeopathic groups.

I study with some of the most innovative teachers working today including Dr. Rajan Sankaran and the Bombay group, Louis Klein, Michal Yakir, Jan Sholten, Dinesh Chauhan, Roger Morrison, Jayash Shah, Sujit Chatterjee and Schachindra and Bawisha Joshi. My homeopathic style follows the school of Dr. Rajan Sankaran, Jan Sholten and Michal Yakir. I bring together modalities that support awareness and self exploration for personal growth that ultimately bring calm.

I am an explorer

It took me time to get to where I am now. I wasn’t one of those people who knew what they wanted to do when they were young and I couldn’t see the purpose in following along a path that I couldn’t resonate with. I wanted to explore the world. I spent most of my 20s travelling extensively around the world and consider myself privileged to have had the opportunity to have many different experiences and try on many different vocations and explore different aspects of my nature from my creative side to my scientific nerd side.

My journey of self discovery has unfolded with studies in Naturopathic Medicine, mindfulness, photography, homeopathy, functional medicine, Integrative Body Psychotherapy, Satir work and my own personal healing work.

I am a teacher and lecturer

I am known in the community for my knowledge in Homeopathy and Traditional Chinese Medicine, having been a senior lecturer and clinic supervisor at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (BINM) for many years. I have taught and mentored hundreds of students - Naturopathic Doctors and Homeopaths, across Canada through clinics, workshops and lectures.

I have served on the teaching faculty at Dominion Herbal College and I am a regular presenter at BC Society of Homeopaths conferences and a speaker with the British Columbia Naturopathic Association.

I am also a science nerd

There is a science fact-driven part of me that understands the biochemistry that stress is an important factor and has as an impact on the body. For many, functional medicine is an irreplaceable tool in rebuilding broken body systems and an important component of gaining back real health and energy. I have completed training with Dr. Dan Kalish in California in Functional Medicine.
